The Master's Degree (DASL) in Cinema is designed to prepare professionals to face the challenges of a constantly evolving film industry. This programme combines theory and practice to provide students with the tools they need to succeed in film production and beyond. The course covers both the creative aspects of ideation and storytelling and a deep understanding of the technical and organisational processes involved in producing and distributing cinematic or television works.

Over the two-year film studies master's programme, students will gain advanced, up-to-date skills under the guidance of faculty members who hold prominent roles within the film industry. They will also benefit from engagement with television broadcasters, film studios, and production companies—an increasingly strategic sector in Milan, now home to major production houses. This interaction provides students with the opportunity to develop a professional network that will form the foundation of their artistic and professional careers in film production and management.

The Master's Degree (DASL) in Cinema, organised in partnership with Indiana Production, offers two specializations: Screenwriting and Film Directing and Film Production. While the two tracks share several core courses, they allow students to focus on their chosen area of expertise from the outset.

Diploma Accademico di Secondo Livello (DASL), corresponding to a Master of Arts Degree (MA) – EQF7 Level (European Qualification Framework).


Credits:

The course awards 120 CFA (Academic Formative Credits), corresponding to 120 ECTS
