Graphic Design-semester abroad

The Graphic Design semester abroad course teaches information on advanced graphic design techniques. The succinct but comprehensive coverage of the multitude of technical issues confronting today's graphic designers is coupled with examples of graphics from around the world, focusing on typically Italian and European graphic design. The main focus of the semester abroad option is to provide students with a specialized dimension in the eld and an increased understanding of Italian design through investigations in history, theory, analysis and methods.The location of the program is essential in illustrating the relevance of Italy in forming the foundations of modern thought and concepts.Graphic design courses cover all aspects of graphics, such as typography, layout, colors and theory. All courses are taught in English.

Students must be at least 18 years of age to apply for the semester abroad program.
Applicants must also have completed their 2nd year of a design program.
In order to transfer credit from the Florence Institute, study abroad students must obtain approval from their home institution.All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better for the credits to transfer. To apply please send the Florence Institute the following via email:
